Leander is a company that grew out of the needs of the child. The story began with the Leander cradle, followed by a series of furniture, all designed to accompany and stimulate the child's development. Leander's philosophy is to create furniture that encourages children to play, move and be creative. Leander furniture is made from carefully selected materials - mainly wood, leather and fabric. The wood comes exclusively from sustainable and FSC-certified forestry operations and is treated with a water-based silk matt lacquer. Today, Leander is an international company that designs furniture for children. But it's not just about designing furniture. It's about creating furniture that inspires play, movement and creativity. Furniture that children develop. And which make everyday life with children a little easier. The team believes in form, function and fair materials. And that the best ideas come from a need. From a problem that has to be solved. They still follow the design philosophy that started it all. That form and function merge into a unified whole. That furniture adapts to the child and not vice versa. And that's why Leander is more than just a furniture company. It is a philosophy. A feeling. An attitude. On materials, form and function.
