The history of Nidi is linked to the history of the Treviso-based company Battistella, which has held a leading position in the world of furniture since 1953, starting with the production of laminate bedrooms in Italy. A solid tradition, highly specialised know-how and the development of new technologies in the name of a sustainable culture are the values that shape the company's path, the quality and creativity of all its proposals. The Nidi design project was launched in 2013 and took Battistella's attention to design, craftsmanship and production capacity. When the founders gave birth to Nidi, it was easy for them to find the right name: in this word - which in Italian describes the welcoming and protected place where the children are raised - there is the meaning of this project. The attention was first focused on children and later boys how the rooms influence their lives. Beauty, ergonomics, safety and functionality are the characteristics with which Nidi's children's furniture was designed to make any room stimulating, hospitable, safe and relaxing: the best environment to play, sleep, learn and grow. Observers of the childhood world know that children change when they grow up. They have thought of teenagers and designed the teen collection that meets their needs for autonomy and self-expression.
